LDAP configuration in Grandstream IP Phones

How to configure LDAP in Grandstream IP Phones:

 Hii Guys, if you have grandstream ip phones and Grandstream IP PBX, and you want to configure LDAP, here I will give you step by step procedure to do the same. Here I am giving you an example of Grandstream GXP2140.

1. Login the Grandstream IP Phone

2. Navigate to  Phonebook>> LDAP

3. Fill the details as mentioned below

• LDAP protocol :                                  LDAP

•  Server Address :                                 PBX IP Address

•  Port :                                                  389

• Base :                                                  dc=pbx,dc=com

• User Name :                                        Leave it blank

• Password :                                           Leave it blank

• LDAP Number Filter :                        (AccountNumber=%)

•  LDAP Name Filter :                          (CallerIDName=%)

•  LDAP Version :                                 Version 2Version 3

•  LDAP Name Attributes :                   CallerIDName Email Department FirstName LastName

•  LDAP Number Attribute :                 AccountNumber MobileNumber HomeNumber Fax

•  LDAP Display Name :                      AccountNumber CallerIDName

•  Max. Hits :                                        3000

•  Search Timeout :                               8

•  Sort Results :                                    Yes

•  LDAP Lookup :                               Incoming CallsOutgoing Calls

•  Lookup Display Name:                    AccountNumber CallerIDName

• Exact Match Search :                        Yes
